I love my one Armenia
I love her too much
To leave her to die
Forsaken and alone.
Her sad music,
That flow like rivers from the
Beginning of torturous time - I love.
Her beautiful flowers,
The young and cheerful, smiling like sun.
Their restless dance I love.
Her blue lakes, Sevan and Van,
Glowing like two shiny eyes I love.
I love her green spring that gives new life,
Her summer sun like a diamond in the sky,
Her white snow with flakes like doves.
I even love the gloomy gray walls of her old homes.
The aged stones of her ageless cities and
The dust of her centuries old roads I love.
Now from far, far away I hear her cries.
Her dying whispers shutter my stone heart.
Trying everything to escape the gravity of this tragedy,
I fall in vain with even more pain.
With every second the torture grows.
The evil himself ferociously consumes
Her soul and beauty.
And as he does the bolder and stronger he becomes.
The heart of the evil is time itself.
To save her I have to stop the time.
I raise my head and with my helpless eyes
Look at the heaven and pray for her.
And then I promise to stop and rewind the time.
To kill the evil before it has born.
The fire of life burns in my eyes,
As I open her iron cast books and
Engulf myself in the ocean of her endless wisdom;
The wisdom that withstood all the trials of time.
Now the time is on my side and I command:
You shall live and prosper!
You shall be be crowned on top of Ararat!
You shall have glorious days!
You shall live with love and beauty forever!
You shall be strong and protect the weak!
My one and only one Armenia.
